I’ve seen this ad on local TV but finally got to the site today.
Very interesting especially for those in the UK and US who are interested in how their lifestyle affects the environment.
They didn’t have Canada so I had to settle for the US calculation but I’m about an 16. What was interesting was that if I travelled a bit more again, I shoot up to about a 20.
What’s your carbon footprint?
Cool site. I run it and got a 16 (I am in the USA).
9 tonnes here.
I get 8 tonnes. But some of the questions are difficult to answer.
And recycle 30%? I probably recycle 90%. Recently my local council has supplied recycle bins for food waste. I was already recycling glass, paper, tins, most plastic etc. Now with food waste gone there is not much left. I put out my kitchen bin maybe once a month – there’s no perishables in there so it doesn’t smell.
